Rest and relax at our Yorkshire spa hotel.

We went to Oulton hall on Saturday 27th June .Ann and myself was absolutely delighted with what we saw. The room was beautiful and comfortable everything we needed.The nighttime meal was perfect. The two things that really made this experience was the absolute friendliness of the staff.Now the icing on the cake for me was the massage ,I had this little miracle worker who put me at ease made easy conversation in fact all around chilled out.I had a back and head massage but beings I suffer with sciatica I noticed since I’ve had my massage honestly my back has hardly played up so I want to thank you Medina for whatever magic you performed that day and no doubt we’ll hope to be back in the future so thank you very much Medina for helping me keep off my co-codamols❤️❤️❤️

I felt compelled to take the time to review this hotel following a short stay with my daughter. We went for some much needed “mum/daughter” relaxation. From the moment we checked in until check out we were welcomed and looked after by such warm, friendly and helpful staff. The reception team, bar team, cleaning team and waiting staff were all so attentive and chatty. Indeed, I don’t think I’ve ever (in my 50 years) stayed in a hotel where this was the case. Even my daughter noticed and commented on it. We were also really impressed with the cleanliness throughout the hotel, its grounds and in the room. Clearly the standards are set high. Congratulations to the team, it’s a 10/10 for hospitality from us and we will recommend and return soon.

Had a wonderful spa day and afternoon tea at Oulton Hall yesterday. The facilities and grounds are simply breathtaking. The staff are super friendly and helpful. My massage therapist, Medina, was wonderful and helped work out the stubborn knots in my shoulders and hands. She is very skilled and has great attention to detail. Can't wait for my next visit!

Amazing spa experience, i was gifted this by my boyfriend the place is stunning and we enjoyed it so much. Sam did a wonderful body scrub and massage leaving me so relaxed and i will definitely be returning. I left feeling great in all the right places she knew exactly what to target for my body. I would highly recommend Sam, the best massage i’ve ever had🤩. Thank you so much Sam for my experience!

Amazing spa package & the best masseuse Sam🌟 The place is gorgeous, We came for my birthday and we’ve enjoyed it so much. Great facilities nice atmosphere, I a 50 minute massage with Sam, she was amazing , she did a great work to sort out my stubborn knots and tension . I feel a way lighter and relaxed afterwards. I would highly recommend Sam 🌟the best massage I have ever had so far! Thank you so much Sam

We were a family group of 8 adults staying overnight and dining in the Calverley Grill It is a lovely hotel with great common areas and staff The dinner was excellent as was the food presentation and service In particular we should thank Oliver for taking such great care of us at dinner

We recently visited Oulton Hall for a family stay, and it was a lovely experience. The hotel grounds are stunning and provide a relaxing, high-end atmosphere that still feels welcoming for children. The staff were very helpful, and the location is perfect for a peaceful getaway while still being close enough to local attractions. Regarding value, the amenities—especially the spa and the well-kept golf course—make the cost worthwhile for a treat. We did have a short wait during check-in, but the lobby is so pleasant that it didn’t really matter. Overall, it’s a great choice for families wanting a mix of luxury and comfort.

Had a wonderful two day relaxing break at the Oulton Hall Hotel. Beautiful surroundings very friendly staff. A big shout out to Isla and Lillian for their warm, friendly and efficient service in the restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious. We will be back 😀

Been here 3 times, lovely historical building, amazing resort. Staff friendly, professional and courteous. They go above and beyond from room cleaning,spa staff, bar staff, and the very helpful Isla who served us with smiles and gentle consideration in the Calvery restaurant where I enjoyed their amazing Guinea fowl.

Never felt so relaxed and looked after! The location was easy to find, nestled in acres & acres of green space - a booklet within our room explaining the "Halls" interesting ancestry. The attention to detail in this hotel is second to none! 😊

Picked the Oulton purely for the location as we had the emerdale Tour close by. Would we recommend it yes we would. Only thing to let it down was the food etc. Room service is pricey but personally it was worth it. The pizza was superb and the spicy wings also superb. Breakfast I wouldn’t be in a hurry back for that. It was decent but was expecting a lot more selection and organised a bit better. Standing in a small que for such a small area and selection. Standard for the size of the hotel. Hot food selection was small and not a big selection. You also need to ask for scrambled eggs or poached egg. No black pudding which is pretty standard in a breakfast. We stayed in the Maldron in Newcastle the day after this and buy god they had a hell of a lot more for a cheap 1 night hotel. Dinner food not a massive section and ended with a burger for the wife and fish and chips for myself. Starter and a main and 2 drink £67 pretty pricey for what we got. Room was superb and getting our extras for arrival was a cracking touch. Cleaners fantastic. And room service fantastic. The spa again superb pool etc. the grounds are fantastic.

I came at the exquisite venue on Saturday celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary, Ellie at reception checked us in, and upgraded us to guest of the day which we were extremely grateful with to the point I got overwhelmed! She made this extra special for us and I cannot thank her enough! A massive asset to the staff and team at Oulton Hall Ellie is! My may I also add that all the staff were exceptional, from Charlie at the bar to Izzy at the restaurant! Thank you for making it a special weekend, definitely will be coming back again!

Just had a wonderful afternoon tea with my friend to celebrate my birthday. Robbie Issolm looked after us, he was so professional and courteous and couldn't do enough for us. I have been going to the Hotel for years and always had a brilliant time, they are so good with my elderly mother and always look after her.

Had a wonderful time celebrating my birthday at Oulton Hall with an overnight spa break with a fabulous treatment. At check in i was surprised by Ellie on reception (who was great and as excited as me) with a special message and upgraded to a suite. Always enjoy my stays at this hotel and will definitely be back soon!
