I DJ'd the Castleford Academy prom at Oulton Hall and the staff were excellent. Very professional and extremely attentive. Imogen and Janine in particular were superb. Exceptionally helpful. Special mention to Toni who greeted me upon arrival and tended to every need and question I had. An all-round high-calibre experience.

We've stayed in other hotels that are part of the same group so we knew Oulton Hall would be good - and we weren't disappointed. Everyone we came into contact with was friendly and professional. The food in the restaurant was very good and once again the service was excellent. We'll definitely be back.

Went for an overnight spa break with my husband and it was amazing. We were greeted by the helpful Ellie and her friendly colleague on reception. We were very lucky to be picked as guests of the day and upgraded to a suite...it was the most beautiful room we've ever stayed in. Brooke was so helpful at the spa and helped me pick treatments and gave us excellent service. Lauren also did a great job with my facial and body scrub. Moving to dinner, it was delicious and Rosie was a delight to have as our server and Izzy P and Cillian were also wonderful too. Amazing break and only problem was that we had to leave!

Just on our way home from a lovely weekend stay at Oulton hall. The hotel is beautiful and the grounds are stunning. We will definitely be back and would recommend a stay here. We ate in the restaurant both evenings and the food was superb. Lillian looked after us on both evenings and is really friendly and professional and wants to make your stay a happy one. Thank you also to Sarah Rosie Oliver Steve Ieay and Steve the reception team and bar staff all who are so friendly.

Every time I play at Oulton Hall I’m reminded what a fantastic golf course it is. The layout is brilliant, the scenery is beautiful, and the condition of the course is consistently outstanding. I had the chance to chat with Simon, one of the greenkeepers, and it was clear how much knowledge and dedication goes into maintaining the course. His passion for what he does really comes across, and it’s easy to see why the course is kept to such a high standard. A real credit to Simon and the whole team. Looking forward to my next round already.

Stunning place. Didn't get inside other than for a bite to eat in the club house, but the gardens alone justify 5 stars. The gardener (Craig?) was extremely patient with my brother, who plastered him with questions about root stock and soil PH, and he and everyone else were welcoming and friendly. The turning circle looks stunning, as does the whole estate, and I would definitely recommend it for weddings etc as well as golf.

Outstanding dining experience from start to finish. I visited this evening with a work colleague, and while the food was excellent, the standout part of the evening was the exceptional service we received from Lilian. From the moment we arrived, she made us feel genuinely welcome with her warm, friendly, and professional approach. She was attentive without ever being intrusive, had excellent knowledge of the menu, and made some great recommendations that really enhanced our meal. Nothing was too much trouble, and she struck the perfect balance between giving us time to enjoy our evening while ensuring we had everything we needed. It’s becoming increasingly rare to experience hospitality that feels so authentic, but Lilian clearly takes great pride in looking after her guests. Her positive attitude, attention to detail, and genuine enthusiasm made the whole experience memorable. A fantastic restaurant with incredible food, a great atmosphere, and first-class customer service. A huge thank you to Lilian for making our evening such an enjoyable one. She’s a real credit to the restaurant, and we’ll definitely be returning.

Recently played a round of golf here, stunning weather and quality greens. Shoutout to green keeper Sam who stopped for a chat, good work on the course!
