Relax at our spa hotel in Leeds, Yorkshire.

Rooms a high standard, nice friendly staff in a very nice country Hotel. I stay in many hotels and always try to get into the Oulton if I am anywhere near the area

Had a lovely time. Room warm and spotlessly clean. Bed comfortable. Plenty of hot water for showers. Food excellent. Particularly enjoyed afternoon tea. Will return in the future.

We stayed at Oulton Hall for our wedding anniversary and also used the weekend as a little business planning retreat, and I honestly cannot fault the hotel itself. The service was five-star from start to finish. Check-in was lovely, our room was excellent, and we had afternoon tea in the Drawing Room which was absolutely fantastic. We also really enjoyed the Champagne Bar in the evening. The hotel has such a beautiful atmosphere and the staff and service throughout really made our anniversary feel special. Unfortunately, the spa was where the experience fell short for us, particularly because there is such a noticeable difference between the standard of the hotel and the standard of the spa facilities. The pool was very overcrowded and there aren't really any loungers or comfortable beds around the pool where you can properly relax — mainly just small chairs. The bar and seating area are also quite small, and overall it didn't have the relaxing spa feel we had expected. There is a lovely little veranda outside, but getting to it involved walking through the dining area, gym and yoga studio. Once we eventually found it and sat down, our view was unfortunately of the back of the bar with around 50 barrels stacked up, which rather took away from the peaceful spa experience! 😂 The spa facilities themselves also felt quite minimal, with a steam room, sauna and cold plunge, but not much beyond that. We booked treatments too, which unfortunately weren't particularly memorable. Ironically, my favourite part of the spa experience was afterwards, sitting in the quiet room on the lovely padded relaxation beds. It was exactly the kind of comfortable, relaxing environment we had hoped to find throughout the rest of the spa, and it's a shame there aren't more spaces like this available. Overall, we absolutely loved Oulton Hall and would happily stay again. The hotel, rooms, food, atmosphere and service were fantastic and worthy of five stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ For us, though, the spa simply doesn't match the standard of the rest of the hotel. We'd definitely return for another stay, we'd probably just give the spa a miss next time.

We stayed at this beautiful hotel for one night and our stay was superb! We were lucky enough to be upgraded to the beautiful Richmond Suite which was extremely comfortable and spacious. The bath was huge, toiletries provided throughout the hotel were lovely, robes and slippers were included. Dinner in the Calverley Grill was delicious and service was professional, welcoming and unobtrusive. Oliver was very friendly. Food was delicious, particularly the Stilton Pannacotta. The hotel is beautifully decorated throughout and everywhere was spotless. Breakfast was lovely: a large range of hot and cold items with lovely granola and lots of different bread. Again, service was impeccable. The breakfast staff were efficient and cleared tables quickly. My husband is vegetarian and said the veggie sausages were delicious. All staff were efficient, courteous and happy to help. We had a lovely stay and would return in a heartbeat. Thank you to all who looked after us so well.

We stayed in Oulton Hall Spa and Golf Resort for 5 days in August 2026. A beautiful property Oulton Hall give you a royal feeling. Rooms were good, spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was elaborate, the chef was ready to cook extra for vegetarians. We attended a wedding there. Overall a good experience.

Lovely hotel in a nice location & lovely surroundings. We did a spa break & had a lovely massage. I would highly recommend Binta. She was lovely & friendly & it was the nicest massage I’ve ever had. The spa facilities were nice & clean & the relaxation room was really nice . Room was lovely & dinner & breakfast were fabulous. Oliver really looked after us at dinner & he added a nice touch to my friend’s dessert as it was a birthday celebration. He also looked after us well at breakfast . Would highly recommend this hotel. All staff very friendly & helpful. Nothing too much trouble

Amazing, this is a beautiful place. Check-in was wonderful with the receptionist Mohamed. The suite was fantastic. Dinner and breakfast were great. All round a fantastic experience 10/10.

The dining room staff (Julia, Lillian & Erin from the evening and Louise from breakfast) were exceptional. They provided an excellent service & made us feel very welcome. Susan & Paul Dickinson

Location good for visiting family. When booking it would be useful to know the distance to some of the standard rooms. Due to limited mobility we were given an accessible room. Would have preferred a walk in shower. Pool was good but could do with some upgrading. Public areas very comfortable. Breakfasts good. Very limited blue badge parking. Carlos in reception very helpful.

We stayed for one night and had a lovely relaxing time. Beautiful views, lovely spa facilities, nice tasty food and a very comfortable night's sleep. Nothing to moan about what so ever! All the staff were lovely, friendly and helpful and the room was lovely to. Seems like a very well ran ship 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

Fantastic stay and laura at breakfast is amazing,she was so friendly and helpful and went out of her way to help us. The rooms are clean and very comfortable and evening meals are good with good service and reasonable prices. Took emmerdale tour on sunday and its not far to oulton hall were you get on coach for tour

Location was fabulous. Only a 20min walk to a near by village. Atmosphere was sophisticated, vibrant decor with an instantly calming atmosphere. We started with cream tea which was delayed and was offered a complimentary beverage at the bar whist we waited (this was welcomed). We checked into our room which was a smooth process. Our room was clean, spacious, and tastefully decorated with nice view of the fountain. We both had treatments which were really nice and relaxing. We made use of the facilities, including; pool, jacuzzi, steam room, sauna, ice bucket and quiet room. All were really nice. Dinner in the evening was lovely. Food was delicious. Service was great. Breakfast was also really nice with a very good selection of cooked and continental options. We had a really nice 1pm late check out and our last stop of the stay was to head to the driving range. We wouldn’t hesitate to come back here again, we had a wonderful stay.

My therapist was Medina and my treatment was one of the best I have ever had. She made me feel relaxed and put at ease and she was very attentive. Definitely worth a try and I will be coming again

Had a lovely day spa and afternoon tea at Oulton Hall with my sister and sister in law as a birthday celebration. The Spa area was lovely and the staff were all very helpful and professional. Pool and steam rooms were all fabulous and we really like the relaxation room where you could chill out. We made the most of the spa area in the morning before our massages/facials, which were wonderful and made us feel very chilled, then headed to the Drawing Room for Afternoon Tea. We were very warmly greeted by the lovely Issam who showed us to our sofa and were served by the delightful Robbie. They were both attentive without being in your face and brought endless pots of tea as required. I particularly like the way the Afternoon Tea menu included the CVs and experience of all 3 Butlers: Issam, Robbie and Yousef. I think that is a lovely touch from the hotel and shows how much regard the hotel has for them. Well deserved. All the staff we encountered were a real credit to the hotel. We had a lovely day at Oulton Hall and look forward to the next one!

Visited Oulton Hall for a relaxing weekend with my friend, with the plan of making the most of the spa. The hotel is beautiful inside and out, is immaculately clean and the staff work so hard. The room was a really good size with lots of storage space. The beds and pillows were comfy with extra pillows in the wardrobe if needed. Breakfast was brilliant with a mix of traditional full English buffet, and an extensive continental breakfast too. We had a couple of drinks in the champagne bar which is also lovely, and we didn’t find the drinks prices to be unreasonable particularly for how lovely a place this is. The spa area is gorgeous, while there’s no loungers by the pool, there’s a lot of places to sit. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend and are already working out when we can come back.

An Exceptional Stay – Wonderful Hotel, Food and Service I had an exceptional stay at Oulton Hall Hotel and thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of my visit. The bedroom was lovely and comfortable, providing a relaxing place to unwind. What really stood out was the friendliness of all the staff. Everyone went out of their way to be welcoming, helpful and attentive, which made the whole experience feel so special. The restaurant deserves a special mention. I dined there on several evenings and the food was excellent every time. Everything I tried was delicious and beautifully presented. There was a great choice of dishes and plenty of variety, allowing me to try something different each evening while always being delighted with my choice. I also treated myself to a massage and mini facial in the spa, which was another lovely feature of the hotel and added to the feeling of relaxation and indulgence. The lounge and bar area is equally welcoming, with comfortable surroundings and a lovely atmosphere, whether you are enjoying lunch, afternoon tea or simply relaxing with a drink. Overall, Oulton Hall offers a wonderful combination of comfort, excellent food, friendly service and relaxing facilities. I had a thoroughly pleasant stay and would happily recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway. I would certainly love to return!

Excellent hotel, rooms and spa, we may have had an off day, but evening service at the restaurant was terrible and food average. However could not fault anything else

I have just returned from afternoon tea at Oulton Hall with my husband. I am vegetarian and my husband is a carnivore so we had two separate plate stands and I had falafel along with the usual sandwiches and he had a sausage roll, which he said was delicious. The service was exemplary from our butler and he was so attentive. We were given a complimentary glass of Prosecco because we had to wait for approximately 15 minutes for our table to be ready, which was not a hardship because the hotel is beautiful and the decor is lovely. This was a last minute booking and a real treat.
