Richmond Castle Suite 

We’re staying at Oulton Hall with my parents, and it’s somewhere we keep coming back to. The overall experience is always consistently good, and it’s really good value for money. A special mention has to go to Mia, who looked after us at check-in. She went above and beyond — taking our bags from us and personally making sure they were taken up to our rooms while we headed straight back out for dinner. It was such a thoughtful touch and made the whole arrival feel personal and welcoming. It’s little things like this that make the difference, and why we continue to book here. Thank you to Mia and the team at Oulton Hall for another great stay.

Beautiful hotel in beautiful grounds - honestly couldn’t fault the hotel. Special mention to all the staff they were all so friendly and helpful. Very dog friendly.

Upgraded room and had a mini bar ! VERY DIFFICULT TO OPEN THE WINE !!! Restaurant food was excellent Swimming pool excellent

Had a lovely time at Oulton Hall. The location was so peaceful and relaxing. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. Our spa treatment was excellent. The evening meal was delicious and there was a good choice at the breakfast buffet. The only reason I gave it four was the standard room was looking a bit tired but it was clean. I would certainly recommend this hotel for a spa break and will definitely be going back.

Had dinner this evening at Oulton Hall. Food was excellent and service even better. Had the ravioli main, which was delicious, only topped by the mushroom toast starter. Front of house equally as great… Izzy was welcoming, polite and engaging with us. Rosie, our server, was attentive, friendly and professional. Looking forward to dinner tomorrow evening in the restaurant.

Lovely location, lovely hotel, reasonable prices. Most staff were really helpful. Massage was ok but wouldn't make me ago back. Room was clean and well stocked.

Beautiful hotel. Spa would benefit from some loungers around the pool area to relax but is still a nice place to relax. Steam room was broke but sauna was good. Gym facilities are also good for a hotel. Restaurant is beautiful , and the food was a high standard but small portions, quality over quantity. Lilan and Reece were our waiters and were lovely and really friendly. Still didn’t get Reese’s joke 😂. Bar after was also great with decent music and a good atmosphere. Good selection of drinks and cocktails. Here on a couple night away and would come again.

This was our fifth stay at Oulton Hall and we had our usual wonderful time. The rooms are large, the beds comfortable and the selection of food wide, tasty and plentiful. The staff are lovely; attentive, always smiling and very helpful and thoughtful. It’s unfair to pick anyone out but the restaurant manager was particularly good in his interaction and his playfulness with our 5 year old boy. Lovely grounds. Would highly recommend Oulton Hall.

Had an amazing time at Oulton Hall, went for a spa break with my fiance for my birthday and all the staff where really friendly and welcoming. Kim who did my facial was amazing, made me feel so at ease and was so lovely! Will definitely come back for a spa treatment in the future ☺️

Lovely hotel and very friendly and helpful staff. Meal was very good and a good menu to choose from. There were some very drunk guests in the bar, which the bar staff did try to deal with, but this did shorten our evening as we did feel uncomfortable in the bar with them. Spa area is very nice with good facilities. We both had a 50 minute treatment. My partners was very enjoyable but mine less so! The masseuse appeared to be in a hurry with everything she did and no part of the 50 minutes was particularly relaxing! Overall we did enjoy our stay and would return but I would not recommend the lady who did my massage and request somebody else.

I am writing to provide feedback on my recent stay. I would like to highlight that your staff have been wonderful, and I was particularly impressed by the service provided by Isla. However, I was disappointed with the quality of the food, which I found to be poor given the prices. Specifically, the breakfast was served cold and the tables were not clean. I hope this feedback is helpful for making future improvements.

Hotel location perfect for our needs. Stunning building with staff attitude and service to match. First class all round and food excellent.

We frequently visit / stay at Oulton Hall , we find the location excellent being on the outskirts of Leeds , the grounds of the hotel are brilliant ideal for a leisurely walk . The accommodation is again excellent , clean bedroom with all the facilities you require , the restaurant has a good menu that should suit everyone’s taste , food is well presented and cooked , the Spa facilities again are excellent Ch

The room was lovely and clean. A great size. The spa was clean and relaxing. Dinner was amazing. The atmosphere of the hotel is chilled and fabulous.

Really enjoyed our 2 night stay, very comfortable beds, teas coffees water and biscuits provided, lovely shower. I cannot for the life of me understand anyone complaining about the portion sizes at dinner, absolutely no issues with the fabulous tasty menu ( we definitely couldn't manage 3 courses) all the staff were delightful, Reece in particular was such a happy soul and made a huge effort with all guests. ( He even surprised us with a little dessert to celebrate my 60th year) The bar staff and reception were a credit also, friendly and polite. My only beef was a lady at the spa, we have not stayed at Oulton Hall before and when using the pool she gave us only 1 token for the changing rooms, not sure if she expected us to make a quick dash between them ( we are a male/female couple) she also had to be told by a very polite male to show us where to go to change, unfortunately her couldn't care less attitude let her down. However as previously said the other staff are amazing which will encourage us to return. The grouds are so beautiful also. So iam very happy to recommend to my family and friends. Thank you

Fabulous 2 night spa break staying at Oulton Hall. The hotel is wonderful. There are plenty of places to sit and relax during the day and evening. I would feel comfortable there as a solo traveller. Similarly, in the restaurant we felt very relaxed. The staff were extremely helpful in all areas. The leisure facilities were good and the spa treatments we chose were excellent. However, we would have found it helpful to have a folder of information in the room. If you are new to spa experiences, as we were, some explanation would have been useful. There is a lovely walk around the perimeter of the grounds which could be promoted. (We found this information at Reception). Otherwise, my daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our break which was a late birthday celebration.

We booked the spa retreat including dinner and breakfast, it was absolutely amazing and just what we needed. The room was beautiful with great views of the golf course and gardens very tranquil, when we was figuring out where everything was we bumped in to the general manager Paul Bayliss who gave us a tour of all the amenities. I know he must be busy, a really nice touch to be so hands on. We had dinner, great choice on the menu and the lamb was amazing. The next day we spent in the spa, the staff were very attentive we couldn't of asked for more. The treatments were outstanding just what we needed the whole experience topped our 20 year anniversary, we'll be back soon hopefully.
