What are your restaurant opening times?

Breakfast is served in The Calverley Grill from 6:30am - 10am during the week, and 7am - 10am on weekends.

Opening times for dinner at The Calverley Grill are 6pm - 9:30pm everyday.

Do I need to prebook breakfast?

There's no need to book a time, however, if there is a specific time you'd prefer to enjoy your breakfast, simply advise a member of our team at reception on check-in.

Do you cater to different dietary requirements?

We offer a range of tasty Vegetarian and Vegan dishes. Our menus show options with V = Suitable for Vegetarians and Ve = Suitable for Vegans. We also offer gluten-free meals. Our menus show options with GF = Gluten Free and GFA = Gluten Free Alternative Available.

Please note our food is prepared in a kitchen where nuts, gluten and other known allergens or intolerance's may be present.

If you would like to discuss dietary requirements, please contact us before your stay.

An enjoyable weekend

I was here with family for my birthday and I think we all enjoyed our get together. My room was a good size and well equipped, though I didn't immediately find the tea items. I liked the two armchairs and the room was a good size.

Excellent all round experience ie; great gym, relaxing pool, handy sauna and steam, superb dining, food was very good, will definitely come again!!

Fabulous 50th overnight stay

Visited for my 50th birthday and had a lovely, relaxing stay. The food was delicious, the room was clean and comfortable with a selection of soft and alcoholic complimentary drinks and the spa treatments and facilities were throughly enjoyed.

Good but let down by the food

Overall we enjoyed our one night stay at Oulton Hall.We upgraded to a family -sized room which was very spacious and modern. The staff were excellent and seemed happy in their work.We enjoyed the spa. However the food in the Calverley Grill was dreadful.My crab and prawn thermidor was tasteless and crabless.The fact the food came out so quickly spoke volumes- microwaved,deep fried frozen cheap rubbish.Tip-recruit a new Head Chef with much higher standards!

Back to our happy place. From the moment we arrive til we leave ,the staff could not be more accommodating and go way out of their way to help. From Geraldine, Nick ,Oliver, Robbie Yousef, Chris Alex, Izzy, Chris, Julia, Reece, Harriett, Imogen, Sarah, Izzy Preece, Umir, Johnathon, Libby , Ellie, Seth, Millie, Rhiannon, Mia, Josie. A special thank you to Oliver for sorting out meals for me. Looking forward to going back again soon.

Gorgeous country hotel and stunning bar/ evening meals

Great location beautiful hotel building stunning gardens .stunning food in the restaurant however breakfast buffet is quite dull. Needs a second coffee machine . Spa needs a refurb it’s a bit tacky in the gym and pool and the change rooms smelled of damp

High quality hotel without the high price tag!

We loved our stay, the staff are very helpful, stunning hotel and facilities and the room was lovely as well. We’ll definitely be coming back and giving some of the spa and golf facilities a try.

Lovely stay

Lovely friendly staff, lovely spa, great treatment and the meal in the evening was top notch. A few minor grumbles. No dressing gown and slippers in the room. Marked down for the breakfast which is as mediocre as the evening meal was superb.

Golden wedding anniversary’s celebration also a spa and treatment .

The location was great, lovely atmosphere, staff were very good and very attentive. I booked a superior double room, having paid extra we were disappointed , there were two singles pushed together, we didn’t realise they weren’t fastened together securely until we fell through them ending up on the floor during the night, not the experience we expected for a golden wedding anniversary.The pillows were the worst we have ever slept on, very tired and worn out. The room was cold. Had spoken to reception before arriving explaining the stay was a special 50th wedding anniversary. Told they would do something in the room to make it special. One blue balloon was a joke.

Special occasion visit 2 night stay

The whole experience was superb we didn’t use the spa facilities or the golf course as we were there for a special occasion. The staff were excellent very professional and courteous. Can’t fault the establishment at all

Home from home, amazing!!!

Am amazing two night stay, been here many times before and its our favourite place. We were very fortunate to be upgraded for this stay to the Knaresborough Castle Suite which was so exciting. Its been an amazing experience and thankyou to all who made this happen for us it is much appreciated and one we won't forget. One hour away from home and complete relaxation as soon as we arrived. The atmosphere is calm and welcoming, staff are clearly happy in their work and value the customer. Staff can't do enough to make your stay a memorable one. Issam greeted us today when we went for afternoon tea, he was a delight and couldn't do enough for us. he was so polite and thoughtful and made sure everything was perfect for us. There is attention to detail regarding cleanliness and the facilities that are available. It was great value for money and we will definately be back sooner rather than later, it feels like a second home to us. Thankyou everyone you are doing an amazing job!!! We love it. Brilliant everytime

We’re staying at Oulton Hall with my parents, and it’s somewhere we keep coming back to. The overall experience is always consistently good, and it’s really good value for money. A special mention has to go to Mia, who looked after us at check-in. She went above and beyond — taking our bags from us and personally making sure they were taken up to our rooms while we headed straight back out for dinner. It was such a thoughtful touch and made the whole arrival feel personal and welcoming. It’s little things like this that make the difference, and why we continue to book here. Thank you to Mia and the team at Oulton Hall for another great stay.

The restaurant is a must!

We had a lovely experience. Booking is recommended for dinner, with good reason! We had an absolutely delicious meal and were very well attended to by Oliver

Beautiful house but let us gown in areas

Beautiful main house full of character. Our room was a little disappointing compared to our frequent stays at Belton Woods. A generator or something similar starts up early every morning close to our room so did disturb our sleep. The steam room was out of action during our stay with no updates from staff. Restaurant and formal rooms very welcoming, as are the staff breakfast superb. Would we stay again, possibly but not in the same area of the hotel due to the generator noise. At the moment I'm still favouring Belto Woods

Beautiful hotel

Lovely hotel, room really lovely - beautiful grounds, breakfast really good, had lunch also in the champagne bar which was very good. My only small negative is that the pillows were lumpy on the bed and this meant my nights sleep was not great - but I would definitely stay again.

Mother daughter treat

Had a lovely time at Oulton Hall. The location was so peaceful and relaxing. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. Our spa treatment was excellent. The evening meal was delicious and there was a good choice at the breakfast buffet. The only reason I gave it four was the standard room was looking a bit tired but it was clean. I would certainly recommend this hotel for a spa break and will definitely be going back.
